Retro Card of Air Jordan 12 – Flu Game

If we put aside the small snags and glitches that came with the Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan XII Retro debut agenda, I think it is safe to say that many fans out there are still anxiously waiting for the popular Air Jordan model to grace retail stores. In a solid attempt to bring back the retro card, Jordan Brand will be adding a completely new card with the Air Jordan XII ‘Flu Game’ designs. The model we are showing you and held by the man himself has a white upper body with a peculiar circle with a black trim and something like a bubble inside it. The toe box and back heel guard are both black. The middle sole is a combination of white and red cut horizontally. The outer sole is black and shows just a tad of color over the side giving the bottom part of the shoe a nice attractive look. The inner lining is also red and can be slightly seen over the white uppers. By mixing a few quick symbols, this card gives fans a visual metaphor of Jordan’s infamous 38 point game against the Utah Jazz in the 1997 NBA Finals (a 97, a sick face that symbolizes Jordan’s “airiness” as he played under flu symptoms, and the 38 points scored). Marked off to be released on the 27th of this November, these sneakers will feature the same metaphoric pun on its tongue, as well as a recognizable silhouette and popular color combination.
