Although the design is already present for quite some time now, it still made an impression to a lot of people. The entire upper body of the Nike Zoom Flight Retro 96 shoe is made from black leather which extends all the way to the midsole which is tied together to the red gum outsole. The soles also appear to be thick which one of the characteristics of Nike Zoom shoes is. To complete the red scheme of the colorway, the shoe laces are red which extends near the ankle where the Zoom logo is found stitched on the tongue. What is unique about the design of the Nike Zoom Flight Retro 96 Red / Black White from the other Nike Zoom shoes is the presence of a speckled cement midsole which distantly resembles that of the Air Jordan Spizike design. A white accent also outlines the area where the upper body and sole meets. The Nike Logo is found on the side panel just below the heel collar.
