Regardless of all the hype that the hybrid model born from the Nike Dunk and the Air Max 95 has created, it is safe to say that this 2009 calendar year could easily be one of the years that goes down in Nike history. To add to this hybrid extravaganza, the friendly folks over at Nike have brought us yet another osmotic pair of sneakers - the Nike Vunk – Anthracite / White – Neutral Grey. Now, those of you sneaker connoisseurs out there should recognize from the pics that the Nike Vunk draws some of its design from the Nike Dunk, especially around the tongue, toe box, and sole areas; but we’re also betting that you noticed the Nike Air Max 95 influence on the mid panel and heel. Composed of different hues and tones of gray, this Nike Vunk – Anthracite / White – Neutral Grey shoe has both smooth and punctured patent leather in some areas. White coloring on the mid sole, the mesh net, and the swoosh on the side gives a bit of light amidst all the shades of gray, and lemon yellow detailing on the bottom sole and the lace straps bring some color into it. However, pretty as these Nike Vunk – Anthracite / White – Neutral Grey shoes may be don’t get too attached to them, as it seems that they only come in small sizes for the time being. So those of you with larger sized feet will have to wait.
