Nike made a voting poll on the best Air Force design

With the numerous designs for Nike Air Force I, Nike made a voting poll on the best Air Force design through the 1Vote campaign. The campaign was spearheaded in three major cities which include Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York. The premise here is that people within the city are invited to vote which Air Force I shoes will get majority of the votes. The The design that gets the highest votes will be re-released exclusively for that city alone. Both Baltimore and Philadelphia were finished and have chosen the Ueno/Sakura Air Force I Low and 2002 Mark Smith Laser Air Force I Low respectively. New York was the last one to succumb to the voting polls.It was only on the entire month of January 2008 that the 1Vote was commenced. New Yorkers eagerly participated in the activity by going to the different voting locations in Transit, Jimmy Jazz, Brooklyn and Niketown NYC. The event was not just about voting for the best Nike shoes but it became a fair where everybody got to see hundreds of designs that New Yorkers never dreamed that one particular brand has. The design that got majority of New Yorker’s votes was released on summer of the same year. The winning design spoke in behalf of what the people wanted.It became apparent that Nike considers the feedback of the people who want nothing more than to take part in deciding which Nike shoes are good and which ones are just so-so.
