NBA and TNT scored their 20th Anniversary with the NBA’s 2008 and 2009 season. To commemorate the occasion of the Anniversary between NBA and TNT, Nike had come up with the idea of designing and releasing custom Hyperdunk Supremes which were similar to the set of the show, they were said to be released in a limited amount. The main feature of the Nike Hyperdunk Supreme - NBA on TNT is the caricatures of Ernie Johnson, Kenny “The Jet” Smith and Sir Charles Barkley inked out on the white tongue tag enclosed in a red circle. The shoe is in real bright colors, the upper base in black with a web design etched onto it, there is also the bluish Nike swoosh, blue laces and blue around the heel area and the mid sole. Hints of orange can also be seen in the lining and the thin outer sole stuck onto the thick white mid sole. The final touches are added to the Dunks with shiny golden lace tabs that glorify them.It was then confirmed that the Nike Hyperdunk Supreme – NBA on TNT shoes had only forty eight pairs, making them really limited, had popped up only at Nike Retail Store in the Lenox Square Mall, Atlanta on the 30th of October thus they came along side the NAB seasonal games.
