This limited edition Nike Dunk X Jun Matsui – Electric was released in the summer of 2008. In commemoration and Jan Matsui, the famed tattoo artist, draws from his experiences of the Japanese infiltration of Brazil, throughout his life’s memories. The Dunk low is a premiere basketball shoe, designed for superior basketball support and response while offering an extremely light feel and structure. Only released in Brazil and Japan, these highly unique shoes are a work of art. The sole of the Nike Dunk x Jun Matsui – Electric shoe is rubber color leather separated from the upper portion of the shoe by rubber color stitching. The toe inlay is surrounded by a brown suede material, separated by stitching to the brown leather toe inlay with breathable holes. The same suede color and material is used to design the swoosh on either side of the shoe, bordered by white stitching. The side panels on either side are comprised of smooth, rich brown leather adding texture and depth to the shoe. The Nike Dunk x Jun Matsui – Electric back portion is a mixture of the brown suede and black suede patch, made up of white stitched line to add a vibrant, light effect. The laces are a thin, unique material with one pair an electric green color while the other pair is a thin, classic brown leather color and design. The tongue of each Nike Dunk x Jun Matsui – Electric Green / Brown shoe is the same brown suede color with a black cloth patch and Nike emblem signifying the celebrated Matsui. Overall, this highly athletic shoe offers a unique and trendy style for the everyday street fashion.
