Nike Dunk High – Nylon Vandal – Silver / Red

Originally released and designed in 1984, the Nike Nylon Vandal was one of the first Nike shoes to create vivid high top colorways and ultimate Air Max response. Several vintage celebrations have been released, including as recent as 2008. The Nike Dunk High collection of shoes pays tribute to this retro sneaker. The Dunk High collection has enjoyed a substantial amount of success as well, being dubbed as one of the most responsive, light weight, and durable basketball shoes every created. The Nike Dunk High – Nylon Vandal – Silver / Red sneakers released in 2008 bring together the two famously successful Nike lines into one shoe, creating a world-wide phenomenon. As mentioned by its name sake, these sneakers offer the lightweight durability from the Nike Dunk line and the sheen fashion of primary nylon material from the nylon vandal line. There are a few colorways that exist. For illustration purposes, we will focus on the silver/ red /blue pair. The sole of each shoe is a solid white leather with white stitching, creating a classic Nike Air appearance. The bottom of the sole features a solid blue rugged outsole, providing response and performance. A solid, red leather swoosh comprises a large portion of the side panels, connecting in the back of the high top portion of the shoe. The primary portion of the Nike Dunk High – Nylon Vandal – Silver / Red upper is solid grey nylon, with stitching patterns throughout, creating texture and depth. The same grey color and texture is present on the tongue, where a classic Nike logo is placed on the very top.
