When the first pictures of this Nike Blazer High – ‘Carbon Fiber’ – Grey / Black colorway initially hit the web this past April, no one really knew too much about the actual conditions surrounding the model’s release. The exact details are still a tad hazy, but the word on the street is that these shoes are supposed to come out in retail stores before the calendar year is out. With a lustrous carbon fiber upper and a black quilted lining that is cut across by a white Nike swoosh, this Nike Blazer High – ‘Carbon Fiber’ – Grey / Black shoe seems to remind us of the Foamposite Blazer High design that we saw back in September of last year. The soles of the shoes, as well as the laces, and the ankles (in which there are thin “NIKEs”) are of a gray hue that match the charcoal lining; and on the tip of the tongue there is a small white square with the brand logo matching the color of the swoosh. This, of course, serves as yet another example of Nike’s continuous strive at improving and remaking its designs by taking them towards a new direction; and in this case we see how its focusing its well-known Blazer silhouette into a more futuristic light.
