The people at Nike love to pamper accomplished athletes! A few years ago the Nike Company went ahead and paid tribute to the world famous tennis player, John McEnroe, by creating a black Zoom Tennis Trainer. But now, after sport stars like Adrian Peterson and Bo Jackson have been honored with their own Nike Air Trainer 1s Nike has decided to once again, remind us that “Mac (also) knows.” A gray leather upper is the backbone of this shoe, and it stretches out to outline the toe box. A lighter shade of gray is used on the tongue, the laces, and an ankle box on the back. Black tones on the sole and on the patent Nike swoosh counteract the tones of gray and complete the dull tones with a white sole. To finish the design off, tennis ball green colored detailing around the swoosh, lace holders, shoe mouth lining, and logo branding on the tongue tip complete this homage. This Nike Air Trainer 1 ‘Mac Knows’ – Grey / Green shoe will come out for sale as early as next week, along with the “Bo Knows” debut.
