That was then, and this is now – now none of us have to wait anymore! On Monday, November 16th, 2009, the long awaited Jordan Melo M6 – All Black shoe finally hits stores nationwide. Aesthetically, these shoes come in a black colorway that covers the majority of the shoe, and silver lining around the mouth and on the Jordan logo stamp on the sides. Patent leather toe boxes that shimmer on the court are one of the details that this model shares with the AJ XI design. Internally, the reason why these Jordan Melo M6 – All Black shoes feel s great while running up and down after the ball is because they include a double padded internal fit system that intensifies stability and comfort. Above it all, this particular model links Anthony to his very hometown by adding a carving of the Baltimore skyline on the outsole, and it goes on by adding a marking that reads AUG97/08 (the atomic symbol for gold and the year in which Anthony took ball gold at the Olympics).
