Nike gave birth to the idea of having to release another Air Jordan edition which is the Air Jordan XX4 before 2008 ended. Designed by both Gentry Humphrey and Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan XX4 was released early on 2009 although both designers are not too sure at first whether there would be an Air Jordan XX4 in the first place. Fortunately, the Air Jordan XX4 shoe was released sometime during the year and now, it exists in different colorways. However, the classic shoe takes in the black-geometric colorway.The shoe remains true to the Air Jordan design. The Air Jordan XX4 shoe has a high-top design which has a sloping heel tab. The shoe is dominantly black. However, the side panel has takes in black and white geometric pattern. The black heel collar is made from cushioned leather material that is made to protect the wearer’s ankle. On the other hand, the lateral outrigger and the toe box are made from black leather. To give the wearer full support and stability. Since the Air Jordan XX4 shoe is released long before MJ was enshrined on the Basketball Hall of Fame, it only has the Jumpman logo located on the heel collar.On the other hand, both the thick midsole and outsole are made form patented Nike rubber. For Air Jordan enthusiasts out there, this particular Nike shoe is definitely worth collecting.
