The Air Jordan XX3 was released in 2008 to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of Michael Jordan’s lengthy MBA career. This particular line showcases the classic Air Jordan Nike Air Max appeal with rugged genuine leather designs and unique color schemes. Richard Hamilton, a Detroit Piston’s All-Star teammate, partnered up with Air Jordan designers to create a more environmentally conscious sneaker. The Air Jordan 23 – Richard Hamilton PE is a highly unique Air Jordan colorway. The sole is primarily comprised of 3 parts. The entire back and back portion of the sides are pure Air Max sole. The middle portion is a solid white genuine leather while the front portion and outer toe inlay are a vibrant blue. The side panels and toe inlay are solid white genuine leather, separated by stitching to providing unique depth and texture. The Air Jordan 23 – Richard Hamilton PE side panels are decorated with a light blue stitching design geometrically placed throughout. The toe inlay, and throughout the white leather tongue, features breathable air holes in a unique and funky design, providing comfort while wearing. Blue plastic molded sides rest on the front portion of the toe inlays, creating an athletic appeal. The Air Jordan 23 – Richard Hamilton PE – Blue / White tops of the tongues feature an Air Jumpman logo on the right who and the numbers “32″ on the right, both in gold stitching. A solid red stitch runs along the side of the shoe toward the outer foot panel, providing a luxurious appearance.
